Noiseink
I was born in boston on christmas day 1980. @ 13 i started playing guitar becuz of slash + kurt cobain. in high school i played guitar and sang in the Gersons, a grunge/hardcore band. my introduction to music production came recording our demos on my 4-track cassesette recorder. inspired by daft punk in 1997, i began experimenting with a 1.5 sec sampler and a casio keyboard. i went to nyu 1999-2003 and studied digital media and business. living in nyc, hip-hop began to infiltrate my ear drums and creativity, specifically the wu-tang clan. i learned the recording software logic audio with the help of my good friend kengo nakaoka. drawing from my past influences of grunge, electronic and hip-hiop, i began making beats. i launched NOISEINK in 2003 as a musik production company for all media. in the fall of 2008 i decided to write and record the vocals on my tracks and put out NOISEINK as an act. i reside in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.
